Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The metal electrode (Ag/AgCl) with paste has been used in measuring bioelectric signals. However, there are some problems such as effects of the polarization and the long-term variation by paste on a human body, and the change of the impedance between the electrode and the body due to the change of the contact area in the metal electrode system. A capacitance-coupling electrode without paste has been proposed to avoid these problems for the measurement of bioelectric signals. We propose the new capacitive electrode that consists of the re-oxidized layer between the semiconductor (BaTiO_3) and the electrode (Ag). The measurement of the eyeball movement potential can be achieved by the new capacitive electrode without paste successfully.
