Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper we propose a control method for functional electrical stimulation (FES) with the center of pressure as the desired value to the control system. The method was applied to motion controls, such as standing, standing up, and sitting down, for a mechanical model of lower limb. In the control of standing, it was able to control in the suitble posture even in some variations of the floor. A simple procedure for making the instruction date of the desired motion is also proposed. The mechanical model was well controlled by the instruction data. It is concluded that the proposed control method is an effective method in FES-supported standing, standing up, and sitting down.
