Abstract(in English) | People with muscular dystrophy lack progressively their functions of movement of the limbs. When they do the manual work on a desktop, it is difficult to lift up their upper extremities. They sometimes put one hand o the other and make a clearance from the desktop so far as 10cm. It is, however, impossible to raise their hands higher. The authors produced an electrically moveable device for supporting the upper limbs of those with muscular dystrophy. A patient test was carried out and positions of the upper limb were tracked. Te range of the hand movement was extended drastically by using the device. |
