Abstract(in English) Dental implantation should be estimated objectively, because of the idea "Evidence based Medicine" in clinics. Moreover the imprortance of implantation instead of natural teeth increases from a atandpoint of "Quality of Life" of the aged. Then it is urgent to develope a quantitative estimation of implantation. As the movement of implant is less than that of natural teeth, it is difficult to apply the manual examination of tooth mobility to the estimation of implant movement. In this study, the digital measurement system of dental implant movement is developed, and the sufficient accuracy and reproducibility of measurement confirmed in basic study by using an artificial implantation model.
