Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For noninvasive thermometry, high-speed imaging techniques of the chirp pulse microwave computed tomography (CP-MCT) are requied. For the purpose, we developed the fan beam-type CP-MCT. By increasing the region of measurement and by improving the spatial resolution, the developed fan beam-type CP-MCT has been improved. The improved muasurement characteristics have been confirmed experimentally. The extended measurement region is 200mm in diameter, and the estimated spatial resolution is approximately 10 mm. These figures are the same as ones for the prototype system of CP-MCT. It was also estimated that tomographic measurement would be completed within 15 seconds with the maximum speed.
