Abstract(in English) Most recently, magnetic stimulation has been used for clinical application or rehabilitations. However, because the induced cerrent in tissues exposed to the magnetic stimulation flows wide spread, it is difficult to determine the region of nerve excitation. The first derivative of the electric field's component parallel to the nerve, which is called activatihg function, is considered to be the dominatihg factor of hyperpolarization or depolarization of nerve fiber. We, however, consider that a determining factor of nerve excitation is not only activating function but also strength of induced electric field. In this study, we propose a new method to determine the region of nerve excitation.
