Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A taste sensor FET(TSFET) which using an ion-sensitive field-effect transistor (ISFET) was produced aiming at aminiaturized and integrated taste sensing system. The TSFET can quantify five kinds of taste qualities. In the present study, we tried to detect the multiplication effect and the suppression effect between taste substances. As a result, the response of TSFET membrane potential was similar to that of the conventional multi-channel taste sensor. Then, TSFET appears to be useful for the miniaturization and integration of taste sensing systems.
