Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper we propose a neural network model that generates locomotory rhythm. The generation of the locomotory rhythm is based on the deterministic diffusion with drift. We introduce the "virtual neuron," whose output function is piecewise-linear characteristics with origin symmetry. The virtual neuron has the capability to generate periodic maps. The virtual neuron generates the deterministic diffusion. The results by computer simulation agree with the characteristics of the locomotory rhythm.
