Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of the present study is to determine the electrode location for the surface electromyography during movement in the elbow joint muscles. We recorded the distribution of the innervation zones which was estimated by observation of the multi channel-EMG in isometric contractions in various elbow joint angles on the skin surface. This result showed that the location of the innervation zones projected on the skin surface vary with the elbow joint angle. The EMG was detected from the electrode location determined by this proposed method during constant angular velocity movement of elbow joint, as well as from that on the innervation zone. This result proved that this method is useful.
