Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With intensity-modulated CW light, the same analysis is possible as the time-resolved technique for the scattering phenomena in mammalian tissues. Mainly in simulation, we analyzed the frequency response of scattering medium with inhomogeneous absorption coefficient. Two models were analyzed, i.e. a transmission-type and a reflection-type. In practical conditions, the frequency response of the reflection-type was more sensitive to the absorption change than that of the transmission-type. In the reflection-type, it was found that the frequency response was sensitive to the positions and the absorption coefficients of the absorptive layers in scattering medium.
