Abstract(in English) | It is important to briefly estimate an usual practice / physical activity, in order to take care of health of the aged and advance a QOL (quality of life) of them. In this study, the physical activity is measured by using a three-dimensional piezo-resistive accelerometer placed at front waist of a subject. A low frequency acceleration of piezo-resistive accelerometer gives a change of physical posture. A characteristic frequency and its spectrum amplitude give a change of physical movement. A linearly moved distance is also estimated by using a velocity constant. A complicated physical behavior which includes a prone position, a supine position, walking and jogging is discriminated and the moved distance is estimated. Those results suggest an adequate correlation. |
