Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Even by using a hearing aid, many people with hearing impairment can't be supported their hearing sufficiently. This study aims to develop a training system of hearing ability by biofeedback technique for people with hearing impairment. This system consists of a computer, a keyboard and a display with a touch-sensed-panel. Subjects sound one "voice" as a question, then they are requested to choose a correct answer among five answers by a mouse or a touch-sensed-panel. After judging, this system present the correct answer both on the display and by sound speaker as biofeedback information. The trials by 13 subjects show hearing ability improvement (67.5%⟶85.0%).
