Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study,we developed a cardiovascular model involving gravitational effects to investigate cardiovascular dynamics during parabolic flight. This model is based on DeBoer's beat-to- beat model whose validity has been verified for subjects under the resting state in normal gravity environment.Taking into account the fluid shift caused by gravitational change,we incorporated two gravitational effects into the model. One is blood pressure changes on baroreceptors at carotid sinus, and the other is venous return to the right heart and redistribution of blood at the left ventricle. Moreover,a method of estimating model parameters from recorded cardiovascular signals was proposed.Simulation results show that when recorded gravity and respiration data are used as input to the model, the model output and the experiment results are roughly the same.In conclusion,it was found that when these gravitational effects are incorporated into the model, the cardiovascluar dynamics during parabolic flight is well explained.
