| Abstract(in English) | In order to investigate behaviors of C.elegans,images of the worm were stored on a video tepa recoder,and the replayed images were analyzed in a personal computer.The trace of the worm was chased by the computer program.The velocity was calculated,and its meaning in the behavior is discussed.From an image of a microscope, the center line of the worm was extracted.Using these methods we can obtain accurate quantities which characterize the behavior. |
