Spacial Frequency Characteristic of Feature Extraction Model for Brightness Perception

Abstract(in English) Although many models for human brightness perception have been proposed,spacial frequency characteristics for the models have not been investigated.We used an feature extraction model to simulate sensitivity for square wave and its fundamental and higher harmonics gratings as a function of spacial frequency,and compare with the results from psychophysical experiments.In addition, global characteristics of brightness perception for Craik-O′Brien type stimulus were analyzed.
