Abstract(in English) This paper describes an accuracy verification of a PSD- camerabased photostereometric system.This utilizes 4 non-coplanar LEDs mounted on the patient′s head to detect the cranial position and orientation.The accuracy of 6-degree-of-freedom measurement, however,is usually difficult to be verified,primarily because a standard measurement apparatus is not available.Then,we carried out three distinct experiments;translation,rotation and resolution tests,employing precise linear and rotary pulse-stages.The results of these tests suggested that the overall error of the LED position measured would lie within 1.54 mm,2.8% of the maximum translation of 55 mm,if using a 100-point averaging filter for noise reduction.
