Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A theoretical analysis was performed about the relation between the phase of impedance and the effects of internal radius, elastic modulus and the distance from entry zone of arterial tube. The blood flow in artery and wall motion were described by Navier Stokes equations and dynamic wall motion equation which have been converted into a distributed parameter model composed of the resistance, compliance and inertance. At smaller radius, the phase increased a little by increase in elastance. At larger radius, the phase decreased rapidly at a given elastic modulus. This deflection point has been shifted at larger elastic modulus with larger radius. These patterns were independent from distance or frequency. Present analysis disclosed that the effects of elastic modulus and radius influenced not only on absolute of impedance but also its phase.
