Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Rhythmic movements such as walking and respiration are generated by neural networks called central pattern generators(CPGs).A small network model which shows alternative bursting discharges generally observed in the CPGs were constructed with connected nonlinear dynamical system models as neuronal models. Moreover, the response characteristics of the network to periodic sinusoidal input were investigated.
