Abstract(in English) We improved the ECG data compression method which restores ECG waveform with the linear combination of a biorthonormal basis.The improvement was carried out in terms of determining a optimal set of nonuniformly selected sample points.The optimal set is selected so as to minimize the percent normarized root mean square difference(PRD)of a restored ECG waveform.We also proposed the flexibility of selected sample points.It repersents the interval of uniform sample points in which the PRD value remains within a limitted range.The importance of the selected sample points for individual ECG waveform could be evaluated by the flexibility.
