Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Measurement using magnetic fields is one of the most useful methods to guage the movement of a living body.Estimation of the position and direction of a magnet attached to a jaw employing flux density distribution is an inverse problem.Normally, analycal methods are used to solve these problems, but they need a lot of calculation. In this paper, the authors apply the bick propagation neural networks to solve this inverse problem, and thier applicability and accuracy, are examined. As a result of computer simulations,we obtain an accuracy reading of 1.49% for position error And 0.19゜as an average value.
