Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, many impedance studies are having done because living tissue characterization by bid-impedance can be proceeded non- invasively. The four electrodes method mainly is used for measuring bio-impedance,which can be rejected the influences of eltctrode polarizdtion impedance and skin impedance. The current distribution at the area of impedance measurement is depended largelypn the construction of electrode system. It becomes generally uniform and wide area for four electrode system. It is also supposed that the two electrodes system is preferable than the four electrodes system by the situation of form of living tissue.By these reasons, the two electrodes method was considered for measuring living tissue impedance of local area.It was confirmed that the appropriate value of living tissue constants could be evaluated at the high frequency area of several 100 kHz to 1 MHz from body surface non-invasively.Finally,the application for measuring body fat was shown with experimental results.
