Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To verify an existence of the optimal control mechanism in cardiovascular system.experimental ventricular ejection pressure has been simulated. The performance function that must be minimized involved the work of ventricle, the rate of changes in vcntricular pressure and aortic flow rate. The reported changes in isolated canine left ventricular pressure curves produced by artificial control of afterloading system involving resistance, compliance and characteristic impedance were successfully simulated by adjusting the weighting coefficients.Further, optimal trajectories of ventricular pressures with isolated changes in each component of afterload have been calculated,The altertions in weighting coefficients relevant to fluid dynamical changes evoked by changes in afterload are consistent with physiological consideration.
