Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We investigated.the effect of nitroglycerin(NTG)on in vivo human venules by a needle-probe CCD video microscope. After physical relaxation,NTG(0.3 mg)was administrated sublingually. The venular diameter was measured for 5 min after NTG.Sublingual venular. diameters increased gradually and reached their maximum values at about 150 sec after NTG.Also there waS difference between large(>I 00 pm)and small(100 gm)venular responses. In summary, dilative response of the sublingual microvessels for nitroglycerin could be observed non-invasively and directly in human by our needle type CCD microscope.
