Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Functional series model which is well-known as a nonlinear model to identify nonlinear dynamical system is widely used for representing or analizing biological system. The functional series model includes Volterra,Wiener and binary functional series model and so on.In this study, these functional series models are compared and evaluated in generally from the point of view in capability, precision and calculation time for system identification.Especially, when the binary functional series model, which is excellent in precision and calculation time,is applied to object which has characteristics of adaptation such as biological system, the estimating memory length of the object has a very important role to avoid wrong estimation. This result gives us a criterion to determine which functional series model should be used for a given experimental environment and the object.
