Abstract(in English) The actual powers developed at human arterial system were calculated.The powers were defined as those that consumed at arterial bed by the viscous retardation force of blood.The ventricular pressure as an input was approximated by chebychev method and expressed by polynomials.The arterial system was expressed by resistance,compliance and aortic valvular resistance. The calculated powers increased with resistance while theoretical analysis predicted its decrease.This discrepancy originated in the simultaneous increase in the stroke volume and the prolongation of ejection duration whiches were the secondary reactions of cardiac contractility changes.
