| Abstract(in English) | The monitoring of arterial blood pressure and blood oxygenation is essential for the evaluation of cardiovascular function.Non- invasive and ambulatory monitoring of such information is highly required in the field of home care use.We have previously developed (1)volume-oscillometric method for the measurement of arterial blood pressure based on the non-linear nature of pressure- volume relationship in the artery,(2)volume-oscillometric method with spectrophotometry for the measurement of blood oxygenation.A brief description of these measurements,recent developments of monitoring systems,and a few results are given in this paper. |
