Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new instrument, the cordless sensor, was designed for the ambulatory measurement and bedside monitoring including home care. It is a wireless sensor for ECG signals in that no wire connects between electrodes and recording unit such as a Holter recorder using the short-range telemetry. This device consists of ECG electrodes, differential amplifiers and an FM transmitter. The ECG signals are transmitted to Holter recorder with a receiver. With this instrument the complication of cords between sensors and recorder could be removed. The cordless sensor is useful and helpful for the improvement of the conditions during measurement of ECG signals in unconstrained subjects.
