Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The generation time of several bacterials prolonged when incubated within 450mT static magnetic field under suppresive growth condition.During logarithmic phase (until 12hr incubation period),bacterial number were measured every four hours and then the generation time was calculated. Escherichia coli which was incubated within 450mT magnetic field showed the prolomgation of the generation time in the late logarithmic phase but 150mT exposure group did not.Furthermore, this phenomenon was clearly ovserved when cultured in diluted nutrient broth.
