| Abstract(in English) | For the exchange of tactile figure information through telephone communication lines,we developed a corresponding education system by combining three instruments:the map information system assembled by our group,a fax modem,and a copy machine for tactile figure output.Furthermore,we introduced a tactile figure-making method which uses a thermal printer and a personal-use developer designed by our group.We are suggesting a corresponding education system in an economical way for individual home use.As the developed system is composed mainly by using such commercially available instruments as a personal computer,a printer,etc.,it is possible to assemble a practical system in a short time. |
