Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) By a mathematical electrical circuit of coronary circulation with active intramyocardial pressures generated by active elastance of myocardium and aortic pressure as control variables that have to be optimized, we have examined the effects of time dependent decrease in vessel compliance. The criterion function involved the powers of the changes in pressure, flow and the active intramyocardial pressures by the active elastance in cardiac muscle. Decrease in intramyocardial vessel compliance elevated the coronary arterial flow rate and decreased the venous flow rate. These changes can explain the squeezing effects of intramyocardium. The changes of compliance in the extra myocardial vessel influenced little on the coronary circulation.
