Abstract(in English) | In this study, we have designed a cone-plate type viscoelastic meter to evaluate the effect of fluid shear stress on cultured lymphatic endothelial cells. This type of viscoelastic meter generates shear stress through the relative velocity difference between the rotating cone and the fixed glass plate on which endothelial cells cultured. The flow profile between the cone and the glass plate was observed by using aluminum particles suspended in culture medium. The profile was laminar flow in the range of 66rpm rotation of the cone. Thus, it was confirmed that this apparatus was able to apply constant shear stress on all region of the glass plate. |
