Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report we examine the attractors of the time sequential EEG data based on the single and multi channel reconstruction schemes. To analyze these attractors, we apply the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) method. In practice. we choose certain characteristic axes, corresponding to the large characteristic value which involve certain characteristic information of EEG signal, to accomplish the inverse transformation. For comparison, we introduce the Karhunen-Loeve transformation to be applied to filtering. That is, we evaluate the correlation dimensions of the reconstructed data which retains the proper components of EEG. As a result of these analyses by means of the SDV method, the local fractal dimensions were evaluated through the single channel reconstruction for some lead points, whereas the global fractal dimensions were derived from the multi channel reconstruction.
