Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is physiologically and clinically important to decompose a composite neuronal signal into its constituent action potentials (Aps). The AP decomposition has been carried out by the precision decomposition for needle neuronal signals and the spectral analysis for surface neuronal signals. Hence, it seems effective to classify decomposition methods depending on several levels of observing conditions. The aim of this study is to clear the influences of observation conditions on the results of decomposition methods. We applied the precision decomposition, power spectrum, and higher-order spectrum methods for a simulated neuronal signal and a neuronal signal derived by the needle electrode at mesencephalic nucleus.
