Abstract(in English) | For the purpose of functional assistance and therapy in human health tare, artificial devices, such as implantable microprocessor devices, have been widely used. Among these devices cardiac pacemakers and stimulators for cardiomyoplasty are required to transmit ECG signals from Within the body. For adequate operation it is necessary to be able to modify and confirm the device function parameters. However, if these operations are performed using the internal device batteries, it will finally affect the implantation period of the device due to battery usage. Therefore, we added a new resonant type communication circuit to an implantable device data, using the carrier signal transmitted from the programmer. As a result, without preparing a special power source for data transmission from the device, it was possible to transmit parameters to the programmer (300bps), modify the operation program and confirm it using the programmer (242 bytes). This paper describes the basic hardware configuration of the transmission circuit and experimental results. |
