| 抄録(和) | 高齢化社会の進行に伴い,痴呆性老人が自宅や施設を出て所在がわからなくなる痴呆性徘徊の問題が深刻となっている.このような状況に対し,我々は移動通信網とGlobal Positioning System (GPS)を用いた徘徊者定位システムを考案した.本システムは,介護者側の電話端末とパーソナルコンビュータ,および対象老人が携帯する応答器より構成される.応答器は移動電話端末とGPS受信機より構成される.介護者は老人の捜索を行う場合,まず移動電話回線により対象老人の携帯する端末機を呼び出し,同回線を介して返信される測位結果を用いて対象老人の位置を求める.本手法の有効性を確かめるため,実験システムを試作し,基本的な実験を行った.その結果,実用化に向けて改善すべき点は残されているが,本手法実現の可能性が確認された. |
| 抄録(英) | The problem of dementia wandering has been increasingly serious in our society. We have developed a technique to locate a wandering person using mobile phone and Global Positioning System (GPS). This system consists of the responder to be carried by a patient and a telephone terminal with a personal computer in a home. The responder consists of a GPS receiver and a mobile telephone terminal. First, a family member of the patient called the responder by dialing the number of the mobile phone. Then, the location signals of GPS are sent back through the mobile telephone network. In a home, the position of patient is indicated on a geographical map displayed by a microcomputer. To examine the feasibility of this technique, an experimental system was developed. In fundamental experiments, the feasibility of this technique was verified, and some practical problems were found. |
