Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Then method of CMAC (Cerebellar Model Arithmetic Computer) was applied to the rate regulation in a rate adaptive cardiac pacemaker with multiple sensors. In the cases of 2 and 3 input guide parameters, pacing rates were calculated and compared with those obtained through fuzzy logic. The results were almost the same with those from fuzzy algorithm. Calculation speed was 20-30 times faster than those by fuzzy logic. CMAC algorithm is very simple and therefore, promising as an algorithm in multiguide cardiac pacemakers.
