Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since the heterogeneity of myocardial blood flow is concidered to link closely to the heterogeneity of tissue oxygen supply , and therefore regional ischemia, it is crucial to understand the major determinant of flow heterogeneity. In the present study, we used a molecular flow marker ([^3H]DMI), and imaged with-in layer distributions of myocardial blood flow during normoxic and hypoxic perfusion by digital-radiography with a high resolution of 0.1×0.1mm^2. We found that the local vascular control sites, at which myocardial perfusion was regulated dominantly, shifted to proximal arterioles in response to the decrease in arterial oxygen tension.
