Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed a needle type intra-vital videomicroscope using a high definition CCD. The size of ts visual field is 1.4mm X 0.8mm ; its spatial resolution of a stational target 2.5μm ; the resolution of displacement 1.5μm. This new system enabled to examine the diameter change of the afferent arteriole along the time course after angiotensin II (AT II) administration. The affrent arterioles constricted in about 30 seconds by 30%. This system would be a promising tool to investigate physiological mechanisms of renal microcirculation.
