Abstract(in English) | Measurement using magnetic fields is one of the most useful methods to guage the movement of a living body. Estimation of the position and direction of a magnet attached to a jaw employing flux density distribution is an inverse problem. Normally, analytical methods are used to solve these problems, but they need a lot of calculation. In this paper, the authors apply the back propagation neural networks to solve this inverse problem. As a result of computer simulations under the condition of real measurement of jaw movements, we obtain an average accuracy reading of 0.038mm and 0.024° for position and angle error respectively |
