Fuzzy Number Associative Memory and Performance

Abstract(in English) A fuzzy associative memory is presented in this paper. Elements of the fuzzy associative memory is represented by fuzzy number. A linear regression analysis and possibility measure are applied to formulate the fuzzy associative memory. Recall performance is evaluated in comparison with a associative memory by a generalized inverse method. The fuzzy associative memory is able to store stimulus pattern vectors more than the dimension of the stimulus pattern vector. A performance of the fuzzy associative memory to noise is almost the same as the associative memory by the generalized inverse method.
