Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Theoretical model developed from mechanical properties of a single cardiac muscle Fiber could reconstruct physiological reaction of ventricular and arterial pressure, 1) pressure elevates with time dependent decrease in arterial compliance, aortic valvular resistance and with increase in arterial resistance, 2) pressure decreases with time dependent increase of resistance. They are consistent to reported experimental results. Thus at least with respect to pressure production, mechanical property of a single ventricular muscle fiber can represent the dynamics of whole ventricle. These time dependent effects were influenced by the static changes in the system parameters. The relative magnitude of the static and the temporal changes in the system parameters are important to determine the ventricular and arterial pressures
