Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have proposed a new method for averaging EEG on the basis of human internal conditions which are estimated and classified by finger plethysmogram, and have examined this method with the actual EEG data. The estimation and classification of the internal condition are critical to obtain the EEG components of high quality, and the increase of the number of internal conditions classified and the implementation of the method require the automatic classification. In this study, an automatic classification method will be proposed which is based on frequency distribution of the finger plethysmogram amplitudes. The internal conditions will be classified by non-linear optimization methods and neural networks which enable us to fit probabilistic models to the frequency distribution. This result will be compaired with that by an experimenter's inspection.
