Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new method to estimate riders mental and physical workloads(MPWL) using R-R interval(RRI) was proposed. The RRI of 14 healthy subjects riding a motorcycle over 400km was measuerd and relation with MPWL based on subjective evaluation was discussed with the analysis of logistic regression and MPWL estimation model was proposed. Validity of the proposed model which estimate MPWL with the average of RRI(RRM) and the power of the Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia(RSA) was confirmed. Because the RRM and the HFA are associated with activity of sympathetic and parasympathet nerve respecively, it is believed that the MPWL will be evaluated with the change of the autonomic nerve system to a certain degree.
