Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) From the viewpoint of the nonlinear system analysis, random light stimulus which contains sufficient information to identify a nonlinear system is thought to be an ideal stimulus. Here, we propose a method for analyzing nonlinear characteristics which utilizes first order Volterra kernels measured by intracellular responses of L-type horizontal cells to random light stimulus using 3-color LEDs. Using this method, it was found that there exists a newly found nonlinearity induced by color interactions in the cone-horizontal cell network.
