Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The El mouse is an established epilepsy model. The present research was to develop method for EEG recording in the mouse. A chronic EEG monitoring method in freely moving mouse with 4 epidural electrodes, a nasal subcutanous reference and cassette connector on the back was established. The present results suggest that the quality of referential derivaitons of the EEG was acceptable enough to describe the clinico-electroencephalographic correlates of epileptic seizures in mice. |
