Abstract(in English) We have been engaged in development of dynamic splints for paralyzed upper limbs. Prototype of upper limb prothesis is manufactured under consideration of its material, mass and mechanism. Merit of the splints is estimated by practical assessments;(1)how force between upper extremities and the outfits changes, (2)whether angle of the fittings follows elbow joint movement. We conclude from the results of the test that our design of degrees of motion freedom of the equipment is suitable to avoid excessive force applied on the arms, and to allow the splints to follow the motion of the elbow joint smoothly.
