Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to develop a new type of powered prosthetic hand, which has rapid movement, low noise driving, and can release a holding object in case of electrical emergency. In this paper, we have designed a linear actuator, and applied it to the prosthetic hand. The performance of the hand satisfied the former characteristics.
