Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Although the retinal horizontal cell response shows nonlinear dynamic properties, any mechanisms which generate the properties are not clear. In this paper, we studied the retinal R/G-type horizontal cell response using double-flash stimuli with three-color LEDs to analyze the nonlinear dynamic properties. We assumed two synaptic inputs to R/G-type horizontal cells and reconstructed double-flash response using a linear summation model. Two parameters of this model varied depending on the interval of the double-flash stimuli. To elucidate underlying mechanism of such properties described by these parameter changes, we also studied the cone-horizontal cells network model by computer simulations.
