Possibility and evaluation of gene-collecting method using metal coating hollow fiber membrane

Abstract(in English) Metal coating hollow fiber membrane is coated with metal (Au) in the surface of polypropylene hollow fiber membrane. This membrane has abilities of molecule filtration and electrical sterilization. In previous studies, we have investigated the method of electrical sterilization using this membrane. It was found that cell components ware leaked with cell destruction by this sterilizing method. In this paper, gene was especially focused on cell components, collection of gene using this membrane was examined. In addition, the validity of this gene collecting method was evaluated. As a result, gene was leaked with electrical sterilization and more easily collected than conventional methods.
