Abstract(in English) | The new Metal coating hollow fiber membrance has been studied as an equipment to control the quality of water. This membrane showed an effective trapping activity and indicated a strongly bactericidal effect when an electric current on the surface was applied. In our previous studies, it was found that Escherichia coil and Staphylococcus aureus, which were trapped on the membrane were killed by the application of direct current. In this report, the electro-bactericidal property of this membrane was examined using Vibrio cholerae and V. parahaemolyticus. |
